Age divisions are determined by the first day of the year. Example: If a rider is 15 and was born on Jan. 2 that rider will be considered 15 throughout that year.
Youth will receive an award for first pace and ribbons for places through sixth. Down and back only will be offered to youth as an age division class with a 70% payback. Juniors and up will receive 70% payback for places first through sixth and ribbons. (no set minimum payback)
Highpoint awards will be awarded to the member rider of each age division who accumulates the most points.
Entry fee for highpoint is $1 for non-members. members automatically are registered.
No entry fee will be refunded after the event has been called regardless of the age division. no refunds for the show after the show starts.
Point riders may not switch horses and accumulate points. points are for the horse & rider pair.
All highpoint participants must be register by the end of the first event.
All entries to a class close at the time the class is called. all entries, in order of go will be called at the first announcement of the class.
A horse may be used twice in the same age group if by a member of the immediate family or a significant other.
Riders participating in two man events will be registered with the name of the first rider. a pair may enter twice as long as the first rider changes.
Traveling trophies have been donated to be given to the rider in each division who has accumulated the most points. this trophy will be returned each year to be presented to a new rider. if in the event a rider wins the trophy three times the rider will be presented with a photo plaque acknowledging the rider's accomplishments.
The organization has worked hard to obtain sponsors/prizes for shows. these prizes are given out as the sponsors specify.
Dues will remain $30 per family and $15 per individual. Members will not have to pay grounds fee, highpoint fee and will be the only ones eligible for titles and year end awards.
All events and descriptions must be available to riders.
