Come a little closer
I want to let you know
I'm here for special reason
Today is my first show

Been doing this for so long
I figured I'd try rhyme
If you got a minute
Boy I have the time

Wrapped those presents neatly
I do this every year
Reindeers did their part too
Mama Claus is near

Each year I do the same thing
Come and bring good cheer
Drinking all that milk you know
That isn't easy dear

But I grin and bear it
What else can Santa do
There's so much that's expected
But sure love all of you

I want to ask a favor
I hope that you won't mind
If you catch me napping
It's only my down time

Hope that you are sleeping
I get away with that
I don't have to jiggle
I'm really not that fat

Thanks for being patient
For being sweet and kind
I'm getting slower each year
So nice to be on line.
