Ónde nGaoth

An ghrian chomh ard sa spéir
Tógann sí ise suas
D’imigh Geimhreadh tapa
Saol agus dathanna - beidh

Rugadh Earrach ón ngaoth -
Titefidh an bháisteach
Uisce a choích...
Dathanna a choích...

Bhí sí leanbh, ach
Anois tá sí bean
Tá am ag teacht
Beidh sí sean’s liath

Meabharaím seo é sa choineascar mall
Tá na bileoga sna chrainne fós
Tiocfaidh am go luath
Na bileoga óire ón gcrainne

Tá muid go brónach
Mar fuair Earrach bás
Luíonn na bláthanna ar an gcarraig
Domhain sa sneachta

Poetry

* I have not had the time to write all that much as of late, but I will designate a portion of my time just for the purpose of putting pen to paper for your pleasure. If you find it in your heart to return within a forth night I will make sure that I awe you with words of the heart, soul and mind.

* My thoughts as I write are a mixture of emotions and memories. Each word comes with true meaning not always as it appears to the naked eye but meaning never the less. I put in some words of my own Irish Gaelic tongue to entice you to read more, however I feel it might make you read less for not all enjoy the ramblings of what is unknown. I am sure you all know the lords prayer on the right. Try that out first and then venture into my pages.

* I bid thee well and may thy words come in peace to put a smile upon thy face.

The Savage Beast - By Alexandra Krayewski

* Out of the night into the light comes the whisper of a sound. I am afraid to turn, frozen in time. A sound  that could very well be my last. Is it fear that I fear or just the thought. Can I make my way back to a time and place of safety.  Hovering  over me like a bat in the night I hear his breathing, I look up and know at this moment it is the end.

* The struggling begins, and I am tossed about my back hitting the wall and breaking my fall. Still I struggle to hang on. Still I will not give up. He is powerful and large, I am small and frail, still I hang on. The whisper now becomes a roar, and the silence isn't silent any more. I break, and run for the door. Breathing hard I fall to the ground, slowly I turn and look.

* It is not he that I fear but myself. What have I just done. I promised myself that I would not do this again. Yet, there he lies dead. Nothing but blood running down his throat. I lured him here with my sweet gentle face, what lies beneath is pure EVIL

* Lá Fada Ar Aghaidh            Long Day Ahead

Lá fada ar aghaidh --    Long day ahead

Feicim an t-éirí dearg domhain na gréine  --     I see the deep red sunrise

Tá mise féin tuirseach  --    I am tired

Tá brón orm   --  I am sad

Níl duine anseo dom --  There is nobody here for me

Tá na spéartha dubh agus gorm ar mo chúl  --The black and blue sky are behind me

Tá éirí dearg domhain romhat  --  The deep red sunrise is in front of me

Lá fada ar aghaidh... Long day ahead

Great Irish Poets that I have enjoyed throughout my short life. Please look them up and read their great writings

Love Poems of Lord Byron

Henry Wadsworth Longfellow's Hiawatha

William Blake, Emily Dickenson, John Keats, John Dryden and the great Robert Frost.

These great writers not only enlightened our lives with poetry but most engaged in the well known act of story telling. Stories that we have all read, heard or watched through television. Are they not worthy enough to pay homage to by actually sitting down and reading their lines of poetry put on paper with quill.

Good Luck~~Alexandra~~

The Lords Prayer In Irish Gaelic

Ár n-Athair, atá ar neamh: go naofar d’ainm.  Go dtaga do Ríocht.  Go ndéantar do thoil ar an talamh, mar dhéantar ar neamh.  Ár n-arán laethiúl tabhair dúinn.  Maith sinn ár bhfiacha, mar mhaithimid dár bhféichiúnaithe féin.  Agus ná lig sinn i gcathú, ach saor sinn ó olc.  Óir is leatsa an Ríocht agus an Chumhacht agus an Ghlóir, tré shaol na saol.
Amen
