Little Fairy

 

The woods are full of faeries!

The trees are all alive!

The river beds overflow with them,

See how they dip and dive!

What funny little creatures!

What dainty little dears!

They dance and leap, prance and peep,

And utter fairy cheers!

To keep one on a shelf,

And dress it's little self!

I teach it pretty manners,

And make it faerie cloths.

I would never let another see,

I had a fairy hidden in my room,

That danced upon her toes.

I would protect her oh so well,

And never let her go.
